On episode twenty-three of The Platform Podcast I sit down with former NFL linebacker, creator of Tac-Resist, Ukeme "Leeway" Eligwe! Leeway is originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia where he attended high school and became one of the most highly recruited linebackers in the nation. He was offered a scholarship to attend Florida State and that's just the beginning of his story. From winning a National Championship to being let go from the team he never stopped working toward his goal of making it to the NFL and was eventually drafted in 2017 to the Kansas City Chiefs. We cover plenty of topics throughout the episode ranging from his career in the NFL, his interests during that time and how has life has changed since then. He developed a passion for firearms growing up and it expanded in the league and more-so after. He even created a product, called Tac-Resist, that helps enhance a shooter's performance through resistance training.
